Lleva tan sólo una semana a la venta (desde el pasado 5 de octubre de 2023), pero Assassin’s Creed Mirage ya se ha convertido en el videojuego más exitoso de Ubisoft en la nueva generación de consolas. Así lo ha confirmado recientemente la propia cuenta oficial de X de esta entrega ambientada en Bagdad que se ha promocionado como todo un tributo a los más de 15 años de historia de la franquicia.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage ya es un gran éxito de ventas para Ubisoft en sólo una semana
Parece que la comunidad de jugadores de la saga Assassin’s Creed tenía ganas de esta nueva aventura protagonizada por Basim, y es que tal y como han explicado desde la publicación oficial del día de ayer en la cuenta de la red social X de la franquicia: «Estamos orgullosos de compartir también que Assassin’s Creed Mirage es hasta la fecha el mayor lanzamiento de nueva generación de Ubisoft en términos de unidades vendidas».
Por lo tanto, Mirage tiene el honor de haberse convertido en el juego de Ubisoft que mejor se ha vendido en PlayStation 5 y Xbox Series X/S desde el lanzamiento de ambas consolas al mercado en 2020.
Según la empresa, el éxito de Mirage en cuanto a número de jugadores es comparable a juegos de la saga como Assassin’s Creed Origins o Assassin’s Creed Odyssey y por ello se sienten honrados de la recepción tan positiva de esta nueva entrega desarrollada por el equipo de Ubisoft Bordeaux.
Aunque no ha llegado a trascender una cifra exacta de unidades vendidas, Ubisoft ha querido compartir algunos números curiosos alrededor de este título en base a, por ejemplo, la cantidad de horas que los jugadores ya han acumulado en total desde su lanzamiento el pasado 5 de octubre realizando parkour por las azoteas de Bagdad; nada más y nada menos que 479 años en conjunto. A su vez, entre todos los jugadores se han realizado 60 millones de saltos de fe y se han acariciado aproximadamente 1,2 millones de gatos callejeros.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage es una vuelta, en parte, a las raíces de la saga de asesinos de Ubisoft, como os contamos en nuestro análisis, y es que esta entrega se aleja de las gigantescas historias de decenas de horas de los últimos juegos de la saga para centrarse en el periplo de Basim por Bagdad, con una duración más modesta. El juego está disponible para PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One y Xbox Series X/S.
