SEGA (1988)
Sega Genesis es una consola de videojuegos de 16 bits lanzada en 1988 por la compañía japonesa del mismo nombre.
Fue la primera consola de Sega en competir directamente con la consola de 16 bits de Nintendo, el Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).
El Sega Genesis contaba con un procesador Motorola 68000 a 7.67 MHz, una memoria RAM de 64 KB y una paleta de colores de 512.
Tenía un sistema de sonido estéreo de alta calidad, lo que lo hacía muy popular entre los fanáticos de la música electrónica.
Además, la consola tenía una capacidad de procesamiento gráfico mucho mayor que su predecesora, la Sega Master System, lo que permitió gráficos más detallados y complejos.
