ATARI (1977)
El Atari 2600, también conocido como Atari VCS (Video Computer System), es una consola de videojuegos que fue lanzada en 1977 por la compañía estadounidense de la misma marca.
Fue una de las primeras consolas de videojuegos para uso doméstico que se popularizó y vendió en grandes cantidades.
El Atari 2600 fue diseñado por Jay Miner y su equipo en Atari, y su objetivo era llevar la experiencia de los juegos de arcade a la sala de estar de los jugadores.
La consola venía con dos joystick y un cartucho que permitía a los jugadores jugar varios juegos diferentes, incluyendo «Space Invaders», «Pac-Man», «Asteroids» y «Pitfall!».
CONSTRUCCIÓN
El Atari 2600 utilizaba un procesador MOS Technology 6507 y tenía una memoria de 128 bytes.
