Una semana complicada para Webzen.
El servidor que maneja la empresa desarrolladora del juego se encuentra en un enredo bastante usual estos últimos días. Es que ha comenzado la semana con problemas ya de supuestos «dupeos» de ítems de algunos usuarios por lo que han tomado la decisión de investigar esto e intervenir en el juego pero sin hacer un mantenimiento ni cerrar sus servidores. Esto ha provocado que los días posteriores el servidor se encuentre en mal estado, con lag, demoras en todo aspecto básico del juego, errores y bugs.
Como era de suponer, no iba a pasar mucho tiempo hasta que los usuarios más ávidos se dieran cuenta de ello y aprovechen algún error dentro del game. ¿Cuál fue la oportunidad maliciosa esta vez? Aprovechar los varios segundos que demora la Chaos Machine en devolverte el ítem «Lapidary Stone» al craftearlo, pudiendo así retirar rápidamente los anillos o pendientes que estés utilizando para posteriormente retirar las piedras obtenidos quedándote así en simultáneo con ambos ítems.
La repudiada práctica se ha hecho viral a través de un video de Youtube del cual circuló por todos los canales de comunidad de Mu Online el día Sábado, haciendo que con el correr de las horas la ciudad de Noria (mapa en donde se craftean dichos ítems) se encuentre repleta cual ciudad de Tokyo a las 19hs.
No han tardado en llegar los reportes a través del único canal habilitado oficialmente (Discord). Aunque la empreza increíblemente no haya salido aún a aclarar la situación ni haya tomado la iniciativa de cerrar los servidores, ha dado un comunicado un poco «vago» del que alerta a los usuarios lo que todos ya saben y que se «abstengan de comprar dichos ítems ya que correrán peligro de BAN».
Lo que tampoco tardaron en impregnar a la comunidad son las supersticiones, por supuesto. Algunos aseveran que se trata incluso de una jugada maestra del propio Webzen para poder «limpiar» a sus propios servidores de antiguos players para que vuelvan a incursionar con personajes nuevos y vuelvan a invertir en subir y maxearse una cuenta. Otros simplemente dicen que «banearán por IP a todos sin importar nada descaradamente». Algunos han optado por tomar el riesgo y aprovecharse de la situación de igual manera para intentar sacar alguna ventaja en el game.
